What’s the use of an RV if you’re not camping with it? Well, there’s a whole lot you can do. Camping is a popular recreational activity and with a bit of creativity, you can enjoy plenty of fun activities. We have put together a few suggestions to help you get started.

Tailgating

This is a match made in heaven. Up your tailgating game by rolling into the stadium parking lot in your RV and making everyone jealous of your amenities. You can bring along all the standard tailgating gear without the hassle of cramming it into the back of your car or truck. Some stadiums require pre-purchased passes, but you’ll often find nearby shopping centers or anywhere else that sports a big parking lot filled with other RVers ready to grill, drink, and cheer right along with you.

Parties

There isn’t a party like an RV party because you’ll have to stop for only gas. Load up on your favorite drinks and food, then find an appropriate place to park and have some fun. Whether it’s playing your favorite music and dancing, or a lower-energy sit-and-talk, your RV can serve as Party Central. Of course, you should keep things safe when driving an RV, and parties are best thrown on stable ground rather than zipping down the freeway.

Concerts and Festivals

If you’re into following the beat of someone else’s drum, you could always take your RV to a musical event. You can tailgate or get ready for the show in comfort. You might not have a tour bus, but that doesn’t mean you can’t follow a band like the old days, driving from one show to the next and waiting for the moment you make it backstage.
